I reckon it's about time for a new journal entry. So, Michael and I are going overseas for Christmas/New Years. We will be in Germany with family for the Christmas season, then to Paris for New Years, then driving down to Lourdes, and then heading to Rome. I'm very excited for all this, but because I'll be away until the 15th of January, it means I have to finish the MMI project for RoA before I leave - which is two weeks time. It is about now panic sets in, lol. But not to worry, I've proven to myself time and time again that impending deadlines just push me to get things done - and to be honest, with publishing a book for work, I haven't

Researching a lesser for Bladenix's new character sheet. Originally I was going to use momeraths, cos, lets face it, they are adorable. But then I thought, her element is Toxins? So maybe I should find something that would work with that. AND THEN I thought, wait a second, if Balde's element is toxins, and she has split personality disorder, would she have a tendency to 'self-medicate' with her own little vials? "Toxins" could also extend into alcohol and drugs, would she have a hidden addiction, something to help her try and cope with the world, her existence, and her mental state? I know I love, and most other people love Blade's happy-go

...and to be honest, I've not been doing as much drawing as usual. Hubby and I have bought a house in August, so I've been really concentrating on doing little things here and there to it; letting my creativity take hold there instead. Also, I'm still trying to finish my book. I really really really need to do that. I do come on here a lot still, though, to browse my watch-list, etc, and to touch base with my friends that I have on here, but other than that... I'm sure once I've caught up on my book, and the front garden (the current house project) is presentable, I'll draw more. I miss it. B xoxo
